It is impossible to keep your body in a good health without a liver in good working condition.

The main function of the liver are:
- Stores many substances essential to life, including carbohydrates, proteins and lipids

The liver can be disrupted in its functioning by indigestible food and more or less toxic foods and other toxins coming from the environment.
It is therefore advisable to reduce:
- Fried foods
- Hydrogenated and trans fats (margarine)
- Saturated fat (butter, animal fats , such as bacon, lard)
- Offals and cold cuts (kidneys, pudding, liver pate)
- Excess chocolate, confectionery
- Alcohol and tobacco
- Excess of salt
On the other hand, the liver contributes strongly to the proper digestion of fatty substances through the biliary secretion. Bile makes it possible to emulsify fat from food.
