Weight gain is a result of excessive consumption of sugar and carbohydrates that are often hidden in products and popular drinks such as juices, sodas, cereals, salad dressings, yogurt, candy and many others, that you eat without even knowing they contain sugar.
If your body is overloaded with sugar, you experience symptoms such as hyperactivity, chronic fatigue, yeast infections, headaches, depression, colds, sinus problems, drowsiness, mental disorientation, etc. But that’s not all. The worst side effects of the excessive consumption of sugar include increased risk of diabetes, heart disease and cancer, in particular breast cancer.
Link between sugar consumption and weight gain
When sugar enters your body only a part of it is transformed into energy upon movement, while the rest is stored as fat. But there is a big difference between refined and natural sugars. The refined sugar reacts with the intestinal bacterium, which increases the level of sugar in the blood, the root cause for the accumulation of fat in the waist, hip and thigh.
How to avoid sugar?
It may seem impossible to eliminate sugar from your diet, but if you want you can do it, however, you will have some withdrawal symptoms, including sadness, headache, weakness etc. This means that the brain is sending signals to your body by informing it that it is hungry for sugar and that is in the process of removing toxins and excess sugar accumulated in the blood.
