  • Corn starch

This ingredient is used in different types of pastes that protect for the occurrence of unpleasant bacteria and fungi as it is great in the absorption of moisture.

Preparation: mix ½ a teaspoon of corn starch with a little bit of warm water. Turn on the oven on 430 degrees Fahrenheit and leave the mixture in the oven till it darkens.   • Baking soda

Sodium bicarbonate or baking soda is an ideal solution if you need to wear closed shoes. It has the ability to kill all potential bacteria thriving in them. Just prepare a refreshing mixture of cold water and sodium bicarbonate in the ratio of 1:3. Use this mixture on regular basis and always leave it to air dry.

  • Hydrogen peroxide (HP)

This substance is a perfect solution for killing bacteria and fungi. Prepare the following solution: add about ½ cup of 3% pharmaceutical grade hydrogen peroxide in 4 cups of distilled water. Then, soak your feet for 20 minutes each morning. In this way you will destroy unpleasant fungal infections and prevent them from spreading.

  • Yogurt

Yogurt is an ideal cure for foot infections that appear in the area between the nails and toes because it contains live bacteria- acidophilus. Furthermore, yogurt contains “friendly” microorganisms which kill fungal infections. You can either soak your feet in yogurt, or just rub it all over them and leave the yogurt to dry out. Afterwards, rinse it off with cold water.
