Melted paraffin actually releases fumes that is similar to the one that is released from diesel motors which fill the air with carcinogenic chemicals. Due to these reasons you should avoid using scented candles such as Glade and Febreeze, as well as cheap aromatherapy candles. Make sure that you also avoid gel candles because the same petrochemicals as paraffin and could be very dangerous if the glass container explode.

On the other hand they light 5 times brighter and longer than paraffin candles. In fact, these candles are more expensive than paraffin candles, but they are much more healthier than the others.
