When we strain too much during a physical activity, the next day we feel the painful consequences. Before any physical activity it is necessary to thoroughly warm the muscles, moreover, it is better never to strain the muscles too much during the exercises.
Muscle pain may afflict you even if you are not fanatical athlete, like if you’ve slept at night in a strange position.
In case you are going on a long journey by bike or walk in the mountains, it is good to previously prepare a bath that will relax the tension in your muscles; in addition, it will also provide necessary minerals for the body to be absorbed through the skin. Such baths work best as prevention, but they have a very good effect even when our muscles are sore.
For a muscle relaxing bath you need:
• 1/4 cup sea salt,
• 1/4 cup of Epsom salt,
• 1/4 cup of baking soda,
• a bunch of mint leaves,
• 2 drops of rosemary essential oil,
• 2 drops of thyme essential oil
Put all the ingredients in a dish and mash them a bit. Then add them in the tub and fill it with hot or warm water. In the prepared bath, lie down and relax for 30 minutes. Magnesium helps eliminate stress, in combination with water and heat it acts very beneficial on the muscles. On the other hand, the rosemary and thyme essential oils act as a sedative. Moreover, after such a bath you will have a pleasant smell all over the body.
