In the past people tend to use ginger compress for treatment of poor blood circulation or chronic diseases such as sore muscles, swellings, rheumatism, arthritis, and back pain.
In fact, ginger compresses could effectively eliminate toxins from the body, break down kidney/gallbladder stones, and treat ovarian cysts and fibroids.
Ginger compress is consistent of cloth/gauze dipped in hot ginger water. The main health benefits of this treatment are:

Here is how to prepare ginger compress
- Ginger root – 4 oz, fresh
- Water – 4 cups
- Cotton bag
- Big pan
- Rubber gloves
- Gauzes – 2
You will need to heat the water and bring it to boiling point. Afterwards cover it with lid in order to maintain the temperature. Use the grinder to grind the ginger and put it in the cotton pack. Close it with string and place it in the water. Simmer for 3-5 minutes and put the gloves on. Now you have the fresh ginger water ready, and you will need to compress it.

You will need to make sure that you have ½ an hour because this is the time that is needed to do this compress. Apply the pack onto the affected area, but make sure that you wear gloves in order to avoid burns.
You will need to dip the bandages in the ginger water and press any abundance fluid. Next, you will need to apply them onto the influenced range and cover with towel. Make sure that the towel is dry. Leave it for 3-5 minutes and redo it. Your skin need to remain warm at all times. Do this treatment for 20-30 minutes.
You will need to do this treatment for 5-10 minutes depending on the condition, if needed apply it for longer period of time for better results. Use this method for several days or until the condition improves completely. For women that suffer from ovarian cysts, try to do the treatment on daily basis for two weeks. For other people that might be suffering from mastitis should try to put the ginger in the influenced range three times per day.
Make sure that the water isn’t bubbly and be careful not to heat the water to high temperature because it will lose the nutrients. Feel free to grind the ginger in the water, but this way you will have ginger bits all over the water. It is best to use fresh ginger, but feel free to use ginger powder as well.
Children, pregnant women, and tumor patients should avoid using these compresses. Don’t use it in area of the head and brain, or if you have fever.
