63-Year-Old Model Stuns the World, Shares Her Secrets to Graceful Aging

People have always been focused on certain standards of beauty, but there are still exceptions that amaze the whole world. One of them is for sure the 63-year-old swimsuit model, Yazemeenah Rossi. This lady breaks all the rules of modeling with her age and silver hair, and because of that she is an inspiration of many women in the world.

She has silver hair since her twenties as when she was 10 years old the first silver strands appeared and after a decade her whole hair turned silver. However, she defied hair dyeing and left her hair as it is, and this natural beauty attracted so many people. She considered her hair as gift and kept it all her life.

This French lady was born in France, but raised in Corsica, and was the oldest sibling of the three children in the family. She was raised by her grandparents in poor conditions without running water or electricity till her 10th birthday. However, she has no bad memories, but said: “we had everything we needed, provided by nature.”

The Uppers reported the following:

Rossi began modeling in her late 20s, but she was well into her 50s before major fashion labels began to hire her. Still, people outside of the fashion world didn’t recognize her name until a few years ago, when BoredPanda ran a story titled “59-Year-Old Grandmother Still Going Strong as a Fashion Model.” That article, which showcased self-portraits and photos of Rossi from various fashion campaigns over the last 20 years, nearly broke the Internet. It’s a perfect example that it’s never too late to start living your dreams!”

Her natural beauty is loved by women of any age as her naturally gray hair and wrinkle-free skin makes her an epitome of eternal youth.

Yazemeenah’s Secrets for Natural Beauty

She says that our beauty comes within ourselves, from our positive attitude towards life and doing the things that we love in life. This attitude will give us strong and healthy body and as well as beauty.

I will model until the end of my life. But it’s not about modeling, it’s about witnessing, witnessing the beauty, energy makes us alive. It’s [about] enjoying every day, more and more. It’s like my heart is going to explode every morning.”

The diet is also very important for keeping your beauty and health and hers is based on fresh organic foods such as “vegetables, fruits, nuts, and some good quality fish and meats.” She also loves avocados and eats them every day, known for their abundance with nutrients. The foods that she does not like and never eats are the frozen, processed, and microwave foods.

There are many products on the market offering us better skin, free of wrinkles, and eternal beauty, but she has never used one of them. For her the ultimate product is olive oil. She uses non-GMO rapeseed oil for the hair and olive oil for the skin that she rubs on every day.

I come from a very simple background where we used olive oil to cook with. Olive oil was used on our hair and skin – nothing else. The media makes us believe that we need this or that to have great skin so that products can be sold. They will never say, in fact, the skin has an ability to produce its own protection. There are no beauty products I couldn’t live without as I can always find what I need anywhere.”

She continues:

The best thing for the skin is to eat enough healthy fats on a daily basis and to oxygenate well while exercising. Walking and sweating are [also] great for your skin because it’s our biggest breathing organ.”

Yazemeenah is aware that people cannot change overnight and instantly cut on sugar or processed foods, but in order to be healthy one should pout all its efforts and determination.

It won’t happen in a day. It requires discipline and dedication. You need a healthy spirit and a curious mind.”

Regarding the age issue she says: “it’s not all about being 20 and 5’10”. We’re bored of that. We are all different ages and sizes and that’s the beauty of it. We’re real women.”

Yazemeenah reflects on aging:

Aging is an organic, natural process that I have no power over — unless you count the power of letting go. … I have no time to spend on a struggle. Resistance won’t change anything, and it could even make the process worse. And then I would lose my glow. “

She adds:

it’s not fun to see your skin going down and becoming less toned but the nice, fascinating side of aging gives you a strong feeling of inner power totally unknown before.”

You can realize now why so many women adore her and consider her beautiful, outside and inside.
