A Recipe of the Cool Ranch Zucchini Chips
- 2 zucchinis
- 1 tablespoon of extra-virgin olive oil (for baking)
- 1 tablespoon of ranch seasoning
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
- Kosher salt
- A pinch of black pepper, freshly ground
- Cooking spray
The zucchini chips can be either baked or fried.
Oven Zucchini Chips
Preheat the oven to 225°, and prepare a large baking sheet greased with cooking spray.
As mentioned before it is very important to nicely slice the zucchinis making them as thin as possible. Place the zucchini slices on paper towels and pat them softly to draw out the excess moisture. Once ready transfer them into a large bowl, pour the olive oil and then add the ranch seasoning, oregano, salt, and pepper. Toss them so that they are nicely coated with the oil and the seasons, and then put them in a single layer on the baking sheet.
Put the baking sheet in oven and bake till they become crispy. Normally, it would take 1 hour and 20 minutes, but make sure to check them after about an hour as the baking time depends on the thinness of the slices. Set them aside to cool off at ambient temperature, and after that serve your super delicious zucchini slices.
Air Fryer Zucchini Chips
Use cooking spray to grease the air fryer basket, but do it lightly. Cut the slices very thinly and then place them on paper towels to draw out the excess moisture.
