Recipe of Jack Daniels’ Mac and Cheese

Required Ingredients:

  • 1lb elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 4 slices of provolone cheese
  • 3 cups sharp cheddar cheese
  • 10 slices of bacon
  • A pinch of salt and pepper, at your own preference
  • 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • ½ cup Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey
  • 3 tablespoons of butter, unsalted
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey

Method of Preparation:

The first thing that you need to do is to preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

In a small pot pour half a cup of Jack Daniel’s to a boil and then lower the heat to medium. You should simmer the whiskey till it gets to around 2 tablespoons.

In a plate mix the brown sugar and cayenne pepper. Next, dip the bacon slices into the whiskey and then coat them with the brown sugar mixture. In this way the bacon is prepared for cooking which needs to be placed on a lined baking sheet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.

Bake the bacon slices for 7 minutes, and after that flip them over and bake for additional 5 minutes, however make certain it does not get burnt. Remove it from the oven and set it aside to cool off, and after that chop it nicely on a chopping board coated in cooking spray.

Now, cook the macaroni into a pot of boiling water and after well cooked drain them.
