Alcohol has a myriad of uses; it is a substantial ingredient in many cosmetic products and as well as used as a disinfectant and in adhesive substances. However, its use is very wide since it can be used against bed bugs, and for that reason rub alcohol and your bed bugs will be destroyed.  Spray it over the mattress and pillows, and after several times, your bed will be free of these pests.

Pour rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle, and include in it several drops of lavender oil. Spray this solution onto the scalp, and then comb the hair to remove the dead lice.

The most common method for cleaning ears is cotton swabs; however they push the earwax deeper into the ear canal. Soak a cotton swab in the solution, and drop it into your ears and the earwax will come out on its own.

You can remove bad odor from the armpits if you rub some alcohol on them. However, be aware that long exposure to alcohol can lead to skin irritations.

Prepare a mixture of water and alcohol in 2:1 ratio, and then store it in a sealable plastic bag in the refrigerator for an hour. You can use it as an ice pack, or to cool your meals when outdoors.

Most of the nail polish removers are loaded in harmful chemicals which can damage the nails. Therefore, use rubbing alcohol as an alternative to chemical acetone.

  1. DIY Hand Sanitizer

You can make your own hand sanitizer; just mix half a tablespoon of isopropyl alcohol, several drops of tea tree oil, and 4 ounces of Aloe Vera gel.
